Abstract

Jasmine Zhang looks at the ‘effects and affects that imaginaries bring in the form of interrelationships and entanglements, rather than answering any question on imaginaries per se through a descriptive approach’. This implies not treating imaginaries as an object of study, but rather using them as a ‘productive site’ for analysing the subjective experiences of a visitor (in this case, the researcher as visitor).
